Oral Roberts Falls In O.T. To Grambling St.

In one of the strangest stat lines you'll ever see, the Golden Eagles forced 40 Grambling State turnovers - but lost in overtime, 89-80.

Jordan Pyle lead the way for ORU with 20 points and eight rebounds.{} Star Kevi Luper wasn't far behind Pyle, scoring 18 points, grabbing six rebounds, and notching six steals.

The Golden Eagles had a 12 point lead at the half, up 44-32, but the Tigers clawed back to send the game to overtime.{} In the extra period, Grambling State outscored ORU 11-2.

Oral Roberts was just 7-32 from behind the arc, for a season-low 18.9%.

Markisha Patterson lead the way for the Tigers, scoring 19 points.{} Wymeka Randle had a big game, recording a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

The Golden Eagles return to the court on Wednesday, when they travel to Lawrence to take on the Kansas Jayhawks.{} Tip-off is at 2:05 P.M.

The next home game for Oral Roberts isn't until January 7th against San Diego State University.
