ORU Beats Oakland, 89-80

The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles snapped a six game losing streak to the Oakland Golden Grizzlies on Tuesday night, winning in Rochester 89-80.

Reigning Summit League Player of the Week Dominique Morrison lead ORU with 20 points.{} Roderick Pearson chipped in with 17, while Warren Niles and Steven Roundtree each added 16 points.

Oakland's Reggie Hamilton lead all scorers with 28 points, but the Golden Grizzlies shot just 45.6% from the field.

Oral Roberts, on the other hand, set a school-record by hitting 11 of 16 three pointers.{} The Golden Eagles shot 66.7% from the field, one of their most efficient outings of the season.
