OSBI Investigating Two Jail Deaths

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation have been called to investigate two separate jail deaths in Oklahoma.

On Saturday morning in Creek County, Ransom Andrew Moss, 53, was found dead in his cell by other inmates. Moss had been in jail since June 11 on a warrant for two counts of sexual battery.

An autopsy will be performed on his body to determine the cause of death. Authorities do not expect foul play.

In Oklahoma County Jail, an Oklahoma City woman was found unresponsive Saturday afternoon after paramedics were called to the scene. Officials alerted paramedics after being told of a "problem" with the inmate who was found deceased.

The woman was in jail for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She has been identified as Rita Hyatt, 60. Authorities do not believe foul play was involved in her death.
