The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation launched an online gun license application earlier this month.According to a release from the OSBI, the Self-Defense Act License Online Application system was launched to allow users to apply for or renew a handgun license. The release states that more than 60,000 Oklahomans applied for a gun license last year. Due to the high number of applicants, the OSBI hired more staff to deal with the increase. The online application was created to help streamline the process.
