OSU Raises Money Through Dance Marathon
A 12-hour dance marathon this past weekend held by Oklahoma State University students helped raise $75,000 in funds for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Over 1,000 students reportedly participated in the event which included dancing, live performances, student showcases and Oklahoma Miracle kids and their families.
"With an outstanding team and an incredible commitment to changing lives, Dance Marathon is now the largest philanthropy at OSU," said Chris Stockton, executive director of OSU's Dance Marathon.
"There is still so much we can accomplish, but this year we were successful in meeting our goal and doing it for the kids," he said.
