Tulsa Weekend: Things to Do and Enjoy
Even though the wind is out in full force, there are plenty of things to do in the Tulsa area Saturday, Nov. 10.
If you feel the need to take advantage of Oklahoma's open carry law, Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show is taking place today. The show runs 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12. Tickets to get in cost $10 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
The Wanenmacher's website boasts that it is the "world's largest gun show" with over 4,000 tables. So be sure to get your tickets to the gun show.
After hitting up the gun show, the Blue Dome District will be hosting food truck vendors for all to enjoy. Over 15 food trucks will be setting up shop in the area from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
If the food at the food truck festival has you feeling guilty, McNellie's Pub will be hosting its Pub Run this afternoon, starting at 3 p.m. The One Mile Fun Run opened registration at noon and runners will kick off around 3:10 p.m.
The run will begin in front of Fleet Feet Sports at 2nd and Frankfort and will end at McNellie's Pub on 1st Street and Elgin Avenue.
The run will no doubt have built up a thirst for those participants of age.
Don't forget that the Wheelmobile will be in Tulsa tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. You can try out to be on the show both days from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
