Owasso authorities have arrested a man Monday suspected of burglarizing several homes in a neighborhood.
Police arrested Jacob Regouby on complaints of second degree burglary and knowingly concealing stolen property in connection to a recent string of burglaries in the Coffee Creek neighborhood in Owasso.
Officers were notified Sunday afternoon after a homeowner near 96th Street North and 145th East Avenue stated he had been burglarized. He stated that Regouby had loaded up lawn equipment into a truck and fled the neighborhood when the homeowner confronted him.
According to the release from the OPD, the homeowner was able to write down the truck's license plate. That led officers to Regouby's location in the same area and "was arrested at the scene after being identified by the homeowner" as the same person at his residence.
Officers recovered stolen property that had reportedly been taken from several residences, as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. A female passenger was released, but may face out of custody charges after a review of the case by the district attorney.
Detectives are now working to determine whether Regouby has any connection to a other residential burglaries that have recently occurred in Owasso.
