Parker Frazier Traded to Reds

After a stellar high school career at Bishop Kelley Parker Frazier left home in 2007 to begin his professional baseball career. He returned to Tulsa last season to play for the Drillers.

Now Parker is on the move again. He had already been called up to Triple-A Colorado Springs, but Monday the Colorado Rockies trade him to the C Cincinnati Reds for major league veteran Armando Galarraga.

Parker has a 4.75 ERA in 87 career outings through seven seasons.

He's expected to join one of the Reds minor league affiliates. Which one is yet to be determined.
