Philbrook Museum Opens Downtown Satellite Campus

The Philbrook museum expands to Downtown Tulsa with a weekend of free events.

The satellite campus opened Saturday with lots of family-friendly festivities.

The new space enables the museum to make room for collections of Native American aft as well as modern and contemporary pieces.

Lauren Ross is a curator, and says, "I think Philbrook, in a way, is the final piece in the puzzle that is the Brady Arts district. We are the last of our immediate neighbors to open, but hopefully, we serve as something of an anchor for the area."

Admission is free all weekend.

Sunday's Father's Day hours are 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
