Police Chief: Tahlequah Murder Victim Had Just Ended A Long Relationship
Detectives in Tahlequah continue their investigation into the murder of an elderly woman.
The body of 71-year-old beverly marshall was discovered inside her home on Thursday.
She'd been shot four times.
Police say a person of interest in the case was discovered dead Friday night.
It's believed that person committed suicide.
Police Chief Nate King says, they're "leaving no stone unturned".
"Miss Marshall had been in a relationship for a very long time, and had recently ended that relationship. So that is one avenue we are looking into. But there were also some other things in her life, some disputes that were going on with different people, that we're looking into."
The name of the person of interest who died has not been released.
