Police: Dead Man's Roommate Alludes To K2 Usage Before Fatality

A man is dead and the man's roommate alludes to synthetic drug use before his death early Wednesday.

Police first got a call from the deceased man's wife Tuesday night. She lives in Indiana and was concerned for her husband's safety after several days without contact.

Hours later, police returned to the same unit at Wheeling Apartments - near 51st and Wheeling - to find the man dead. Police identified him as 51-year-old David King.

A 22-year-old was staying with King and King's other roommate on a temporary basis. The man told police he and King had used synthetic marijuana, also known as K2, several times in the days leading up to King's death early Wednesday.

The Oklahoma Medical Examiner has King's body, and an autopsy will be performed to see what caused his death. King's other roommate was not home at the time.
