Security cameras help catch two men in the act of trying to steal copper and air conditioning units from a Tulsa church.
Jerome Lane, 23, and Jerome King, 19, were picked up at Greater Grace Church Monday night around 9:30.
Officers were set up inside the church and watched the two tampering with AC units on the surveillance camera system.
A car pulled up to the church and scared Lane and King. They took off, but were caught by patrol officers who had a perimeter set up around the property.
Both were arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail on 6 complaints of felony malicious injury to property and 2 counts of felony copper possession.
The church installed its surveillance system after suffering the same type of theft last year.
