Police Searching For Suspect Following South Tulsa Bank Robbery

Tulsa Police are searching for a man responsible for a mid-day robbery at a South Tulsa bank.Officers were called to the IBC Bank Branch in the 2800 block of East 101st Street South just after 12:30, Wednesday Afternoon.Security footage from the bank shows a heavy-set white male in a long-sleeve brown shirt, blue jeans and a stocking cap, approaching the counter and demanding money from the teller.According to a police report, the suspect ordered the teller to place money in a bag. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.Police say the suspect appears to be between 30 and 40 years old and about 5' 5" to 5' 7" in height.If you have any information that could lead to an arrest in this case you are urged to call Crimestoppers at (918) 596-COPS (9677).Look for more on this story later on-air on Tulsa's Channel 8 and on-line at KTUL.com.
