Police Shut Down Tulsa's Occupy Wall Street Protest

Police enforce the city parks curfew and shut down Tulsa's "Occupy Wall Street" protest.

Just before 2:00am Wednesday morning, nine protesters were arrested. They refused to leave the Chapman Green in downtown.

Police used pepper spray on some and carried others to waiting cruisers.

Approximately 30 other protestors looked on and shouted from the sidewalks.

Demonstrators have been camping on the Chapman Green since Saturday night. City ordinance closes all parks from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Our team has been following this story all night. Join us around 5:30 and 6:30 on Tulsa's Channel 8 for Good Morning Oklahoma. Burt Mummolo will have a full report on the protest shutdown.
