Politicians In Dunk Tank Help Citizens Register To Vote

The Fraternal Order of Police wants more people to become involved in the political process, so Saturday, they hosted an event called "Dunk A Politician." in East Tulsa.With the upcoming mayoral race June 11th, members thought this would be a good time for the event.Representatives from districts around Tulsa sat in the dunk tank. Mayoral candidates Dewey Bartlett and Kathy Taylor also showed up.Each ball cost $1, and the proceeds went to the Tulsa Police Memorial Fund."As police officers, we want to lead by example. We believe it is important to vote in every election. We want to encourage all our members and the public to register to vote," said President Clay Ballenger.
