A power outage in South Tulsa left over 4,000 Public Service of Oklahoma customers without power starting at 9:24 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23.
According to a PSO representative Ed Bettinger, equipment failure in a control house near 81st and Yale is the source of the outage.
They are currently rerouting power to the area. According to the PSO website, only 132 customers are without power.
Tulsa Police tell KTUL.com, Sunday Morning's power outage is being blamed for at least one accident at the intersection of 71st & Pittsburg. No one was injured in the wreck.
Power should be back up within the next 15 to 20 minutes and then PSO will work on fixing the source of the outage, according to Bettinger.
