Power has been restored to an area of downtown Tulsa Wednesday after an outage left buildings without electricity.
Officials with Public Service of Oklahoma were made aware of the outage around 6 a.m. This affected parts of the Brady District and the Oklahoma State University campus.
KTUL found out that a total 1,000 customers were without power at the time of the outage. PSO stated that this was caused by a downtown substation being turned off.
Crews were able to restore power to the area before 7 a.m.
