A storm system will move into the area this weekend, which will bring beneficial rains to the area. Most places will receive between .75" and 1.5" of rain from Saturday into Sunday.
The rain could mix with snow on Sunday across parts of far Northeastern Oklahoma. It appears Tulsa will remain with all rain through the whole event. While the rain will be beneficial to the region, this more than likely won't end our drought concerns across the region. It will take several more big rain events to get us caught up on our deficit.
