With dry and hot weather behind us for the week, much needed rain is exactly what the doctor ordered. Today, expect a few scattered showers and storms to move across the area, with little to no threat of severe weather.
A couple of the storms could contain some brief downpours though.
After a stray shower Saturday morning, we'll dry out just in time for the Labor Day weekend, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and highs in the 90s once again.
Friday: A few scattered showers and storms. Winds: S 5-15 mph. High: 89.
Friday Night: A shower, otherwise cloudy and warm. Winds: Light S. Low: 71.
