Red River Rivalry Eve: Young Fans Sound Off

Thousands of football fans are flocking to the State Fair of Texas in anticipation of Saturday's Red River Rivalry.

Many of OU and Texas's youngest fans had plenty to say about their teams Friday.

"Zero," said four and a half-year-old Parker, when asked how many points he thinks Texas will score.

"They're fierce and they know how to play," said Dallas resident and Texas fan Samuel.Fair attendees reacted to the new "Big Tex," after a fire damaged the iconic fair figure last year.

"I like him. He's very tech-savvy now. His head's moving. His hand's moving, everything," said Dallas native Dovie McClellan.

Others commented on how he appeared shorter. Some said they missed the original.

Tulsa's Channel 8 crews sampled Fried Chicken Skin after many described it as the "weirdest" fair food out there.
