Residents in a Osage County community are without water Thursday.
It all began Wednesday morning in Barnsdall when Oklahoma Natural Gas crews severed a main line near 6th and Chestnut. The town is located north of Tulsa just southwest of Bartlesville.
Barnsdall City Council President Brock Moore told KTUL that the leak continued all day and night. And the water was completely shutoff by this morning.
Crews have been on scene Thursday attempting to resolve the issue. But no estimate was given for when the water would return.
Moore added that the water issue also is affecting surrounding communities. He said that areas of Skiatook and Bartlesville are without water.
