Apartment Fire Leaves Residents Without Homes
Residents in a Tulsa apartment complex are without a home this Christmas Eve after a fire late Monday evening.
Firefighters were called to the Highland Park apartments around 10:30 after receiving word of a fire on the second floor of the apartment complex.
At the scene Tulsa Fire Department crews discovered three residents stuck on the third floor due to the fire below. All four were able to escape the apartment complex with the help of the firefighters.
Emergency paramedics transferred the residents to an area hospital where their condition is unknown.
Officials at the scene stated that the units affected by the fire and smoke were heavily damaged. No information has been released on the cause of the fire at this time.
