FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- February of 2002 was the last month of Nolan Richardson's tenure as the men's head basketball coach at the University of Arkansas.
While several factors contributed to Richardson's diminishing success following his two consecutive Final Four appearances of the mid 1990's, it was his continuing clash with the school's administration which led ultimately to Richardson's dismissal.
Before his final game as the head coach, Richardson gave an impassioned rant directed towards his superiors and local members of the media. He vented on many topics, including an accusation of a racial double-standard held by the school administration.
Ten years later, Richardson watched the press conference in its entirety for the first time and discusses it with John Laws of Tulsa's Channel 8 Sports.
