Tulsa city crews are keeping an eye on road conditions, with a possibility of black ice developing on roads overnight.
"We're watching the weather right now, and we're preparing to probably have crews come in again early in the morning and treat areas as necessary," said operations manager Leon Kragel.
He supervised about 85 workers overnight Wednesday.
With the winter storm's rain dampening roads and temperatures set to dip below freezing Thursday night, there is a possibility of black ice forming.
Kragel said drivers need to watch their speeds and make sure they are leaving space behind trucks salting the roads.
ODOT told Channel 8 roads seem to be drying well Thursday afternoon.
Also, drivers told Channel 8 they are overall pleased with crews' responses to the winter weather.
