Rogers County Sheriff's deputies are searching the home of an Owasso businessman who was arrested as a part of a synthetic marijuana bust.
Earlier Friday, deputies raided the Okie Mart located off of Route 66 in Foyil. Deputies took Mohammed Islam into custody for allegedly trafficking synthetic drugs.
Sheriff Scott Walton said the investigation began when citizens reported illegal activity taking place at the store. He added that the amount of synthetic marijuana recovered was approximately equivalent to 225 pounds of marijuana.
Authorities said that illegal gambling also was taking place at the store.
The owner was arrested and deputies searched his home in Owasso early Friday evening.
