Rollover Wreck in Ramona Sends Woman to Hospital

A woman was taken to an area hospital Tuesday morning after a rollover wreck near Ramona.

Emergency crews were sent to the area near Highway 75 and County Road 3350 after receiving reports that a car had rolled over southbound on the highway.

At the scene police discovered that the woman had been driving on the highway and went over a hill when all of a sudden she found she was behind a dump truck.

The dump truck had apparently been driving without its lights on at the time of the incident. Officials stated that the woman swerved to miss the truck and ended up rolling her vehicle over.

No identification was provided for the woman. But paramedics transferred her without life-threatening injuries.

Officers were not able to locate the dump truck after the accident. Anyone with information should contact the Ramona Police Department at 918 536 1242.
