Runners and walkers flock to Tulsa's Turkey Mountain Wilderness Area Monday, only to try and run from it. The Escape From Turkey Mountain races happened early Labor Day morning. Participants took part in a 5-mile and 2-mile race through the trees. Breakfast and beer was on hand at the finish line. Race organizer Kate Critchfield said it's the city's original trail run."A lot of people want to sleep in today, but this is a great way to get the holiday started off right," she said. Roughly 300 people came to the races, which began at 7:30am.
