School Attendance Pays For Local Tulsa Students

Local students found out that it pays to go to school.

Some lucky kids at Clinton Middle School got to step in the "cash grab" booth.

It was set up by American Heritage Bank to reward students with attendance of 95% or better.

They got to spend 30 seconds in the booth grabbing $1 bills and a few $10 and $20 bills as well.

Eighth grader Kevin Tolbert turned his perfect attendance into $89.

"It was a little scary because they were going by my face and behind my head so I had to grab as much as I can," says Tolbert.

This was the second year for the event.
