Second Man Identified in Pawnee County Double Death Investigation
A second man has been identified in a double death investigation in Mannford, according to a press release from OSBI.
Pawnee County Sheriff deputies were requested to check the welfare of a man who lived in the 35000 block of W. Basin Road in Mannford on June 18.
Deputies found Ward Ray Bartlett, 60, dead inside his home. They also found another man dead inside the home. The medical examiner's office has confirmed that man to be 53-year-old Don Ray Stanford.
Stanford stayed at Bartlett's home. OSBI and the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office continue to wait for the medical examiner to officially determine the men's cause and manner of death.
It does appear both died of gunshot wounds. A firearm was found inside the home.
