A second suspect has been arrested for murder in a Walmart drug deal gone wrong in early June.
One person died and two others were wounded in the parking lot of the Walmart at Admiral and S. Memorial Dr.
Cody Case, 24, was arrested on Thursday on complaints of first degree murder and robbery with a firearm.
One suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting. Eric Santeliz, 20, reportedly told officers that he had arranged the narcotics transaction knowing that he did not have enough money to complete the transaction.
Santeliz said he planned to rob the victim. When the subjects were in the vehicle about to make the drug transaction, the victim and another person inside the vehicle reportedly pulled out a gun. The victim shot Santeliz and as he exited the vehicle, and then the victim was shot and killed, the police report states.
Tulsa police detectives say the gun shots were exchanged inside a dark colored Nissan Altima.
Responding officers evacuated the store after reports that the shooter may have gone inside. The store was shut down until investigators were able to clear the scene. One shopper told KTUL that there was no loud P-A system announcement.
Two handguns were found in the parking lot near several cars.
The victim died after being shot in the head and taken to St. John's hospital. The other shooting victims were taken to Saint Francis Hospital after one was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the arm.
