Severe Weather Threat Overnight

A powerful cold front is moving across Oklahoma bringing dramatic weather changes to the state.

The main threat for strong to severe storms across eastern Oklahoma and the Tulsa metro will occur early Wednesday morning. The biggest concerns for us will be large hail, lightning, gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Keep in mind some of these storms could produce a tornado but the risk is low. Very cold air mass is moving in behind the system so expect a big drop in temperatures will highs Wednesday in the 40s.

Tonight: Showers & storms. Some strong to severe overnight. Winds: S/N 10-25 mph. Low in Tulsa: 39.

Wednesday: Cold with rain and storms through early afternoon. Winds: N 15-20 mph. High in Tulsa: 45.
