Discovery Channel's annual "Shark Week" will get underway today, and in conjunction, the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks will be offering special shark-related activities.

A "trashformation" art project will be on display and visitors are asked to bring recyclable plastic bags to contribute to a project aimed at spreading a waste control message.

On Monday and Tuesday, aquarium guests can take behind-the-scenes tours and watch shark feeding demonstrations.

The Coral Reef Café will be offering Shark Bites drinks and on Tuesday, visitors can come after 5 p.m. for a Shark Week watch party.

Kid friendly games will be available as well, with opportunities to dig for fossilized shark teeth.

The aquarium is home to the largest bull sharks in captivity.
