Monday marks the start of the Tulsa Sheriff's latest citizen academy. It's an eight week course that allows residents to see the inner-workings of the Tulsa County Sheriff's Department. Starting tonight through the next seven Monday evenings, participants can see county facilities, get a ride-a-long experience and discuss crime scenarios. The department says there are only 7 citizens signed up so there's still plenty of space and time to get involved. If you want more information, contact Bonnie Fidler at at 918-596-4512 or email email@example.com.
