Shock Back In Tulsa With New Vibe

The Tulsa Shock hope to make the playoffs this year for the first time since moving to town. They had their best season in 2013 with 11 wins.

Monday morning new head coach Fred Williams held day two of training camp at the BOK Center. There are still a lot of Shock regulars over seas, but they're expected in Tulsa soon.

Jennifer Lacy, who's been on this team from the very beginning says there's a different vibe in the gym. "I just think everybody is really really eager to get over the hump and ready to become a formidable opponent in this league." said Lacy, "We're tired of people coming in here and thinking they are going to get a win against us. We want to be competitive in this league and our vibe is much different. We're coming in here, we're together and we're working hard."The Shock play their first preseason game on Friday at the BOK Center. Tip-off is schedule for 11:30am. The season opener is on the road at San Antonio o May 17th.
