The Tulsa Shock snap a three-game losing streak and capture their second win of the season. Thursday morning they beat the Chicago Sky, 83-74. Tulsa had four players in double figures. Riquna williams led the way with 21. Nicole Powell added 18 and Candice Wiggins had 17. Glory Johnson had a double double, 14-points and 10-rebounds.The Shock improve to 2-7 on the season.At 1-and-7. Tulsa has been so close to winning more games. They've lost four in overtime and three games by five points or less. Thursday morning their improvement showed not only on the court, but in the win column."I'm just happy for our players that they finally got some payoff for all the hard work and all the heartbreaking losses." Tulsa Head Coach Gary Kloppenburg said, "It's a resilient group that plays with a lot of passion and I'm just really happy we could get this win at home."The Shock next face the Seattle Storm on Saturday at 7:00pm. It's their last home game for a couple of weeks.
