Shots Fired at Bar Near 21st and Sheridan

Shots rang out early Monday morning outside an east Tulsa bar.

It happened around 2:00 a.m. at the Rio Restaurant and Bar near 21st and Sheridan.

Police said they think one man fired shots into the air before fleeing the scene in a white Shelby Mustang.

Police stated they found the gun and have issued a citation for a 23-year-old man for discharging a firearm inside city limits. His name has not been released at this time.

Originally, police thought someone had been shot but they now believe that no one was harmed.
