An unstable Iraq is bringing a flood of emotions for veterans.
Monday's are always busy at the Ernest Childers VA Outpatient Clinic in Tulsa. There's no lack of patients or opinions. This time it's about the latest news out of Iraq.
The White House announced today US Special Forces could be headed to Iraq.
It would be an urgent attempt to slow insurgents which have already captured three Iraqi cities.
The president has notified Congress that 275 troops are needed to protect US personnel and the embassy in Baghdad.
"It hurts my heart to see we went over there in '03 basically took all those cities back and we left and they're just taking it right back," says Chad Crawford who served three tours in the US Army 82nd Airborne Infantry in North Carolina.
"Do we go back and start over or do we give up? I don't know. It kind of seems like it's almost a second Vietnam," Crawford said.
