Sooners Faces Toughest Test So Far

Bob Stoops 10th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners are two days away from their biggest game of the season. Oklahoma travels to Waco to face #6 Baylor.

It's a top-10 match-up against the top offense in the country. The Bears generate over 700-yards and 64-points a game. That's tops in the nation in both categories.

Oklahoma has one of their better defenses in recent years. They are 10th in the country in total defense and ninth in passing defense. Monday Coach Stoops was asked if there were any surprises he could throw at Baylor to slow them down. "They line two all the way out there (he points to the right) and two guys all the way out there (he points to the left) and you got to go out and cover them." said Stoops, "So at the end of the day there is so much that you can do. You have to be able to play. You got to be able to cover them out there and you have to be about to stop the run in here." The Sooners and the Bears will clash Thursday night at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco Thursday night at 6:30pm.
