Oklahoma investigators are working to determine the cause of death for body that was found near Fort Gibson Lake Tuesday afternoon.
Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation state that the unidentified man's body was found on the south side of the lake. Fort Gibson Lake is located southeast of Tulsa.
"The body appears to have been in the elements for several days," the report from OSBI describes.
Officials stated that foul play is not suspected at this time. Deputies with the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office called OSBI to assist in the investigation.
An autopsy will determine the identity and cause of death. Further information is expected this week.
