Rain Continues, Temperatures Begin to Drop

Storm clouds roll into downtown Tulsa on Tuesday morning. Much of northeastern Oklahoma is under a tornado watch until 3 p.m.

Widespread showers and storms will stick around through the early evening hours.

As a cold front moves across the area the strongest storms will move east into extreme eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. The rain is adding up quickly across the area with totals ranging from .78" in Tulsa with some areas reporting more than 2".

The main system is still to our west and won't move over us until early Wednesday morning. With enough moisture around and colder air in place there is a slight chance we could see some flurries or light snow across the area by morning.

Tonight: Cloudy with a few flurries by morning. Low in Tulsa 35.

Wednesday: Much Colder, clearing skies by the afternoon. High in Tulsa 45.
