Study: 1/3 of Fish Mislabeled In Stores & Restaurants

Are you being duped at the grocery store or your favorite seafood restaurant?

That salmon you bought or ordered may not be salmon at all.

An environmental advocacy group says about one-third of fish are mislabeled.

The group collected 1,200 seafood samples from grocery stores and restaurants in 21 states.

The most commonly mislabeled fish was snapper followed by tuna, cod, salmon, halibut, and grouper.
