Style Studio Partners with Big Brothers, Big Sisters for Fashion Night

A local styling studio has partnered with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Oklahoma for a night of high fashion and awareness.Hill & Jordan Studios has partnered with BBBS to provide them with resources so that the organization can continue community outreach. Chris Hill and Isiah Jordan make up the styling agency responsible for the high fashion event benefiting the organization. For the duo, mentoring children is the best thing to give back to the community, which is one reason they chose BBBS to help.Hill said that his business partner, Isiah Jordan, was a 'little' in the program when he was younger. Hill said that the program had a huge impact on Jordan's life and that he remains in communication with his 'big brother.'"Anything we do, we want to give back to the community," Hill said. "Children are the leaders of tomorrow."The event it titled 'Archetype' and will feature high fashion looks in an interactive cocktail setting. Hill&JordanStudios has collaborated with other nonprofit organizations in Oklahoma previously, including Fashion for Relief which sponsored a family that was affected by the Moore tornadoes. The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 7th at the Creative Room in the Pearl District. Fashionistas of Tulsa can expect to see looks by Miss Jackson's, Retro Allie and Kingston Avenue Vintage.
