Suspect Allegedly Robs Elderly Couple with Gun, Steals Vehicle
Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed an elderly couple with a gun and then stole their vehicle this afternoon.
An 86-year-old man had just arrived home when he saw a 19 to 20-year-old black male sitting on the curb outside his house on the 3300 block of South 150th East Avenue.
The male suspect, who had a gun, then demanded money from the elderly man and when the old man said he had no money, the suspect led the victim inside his house, police say.
Police report the victim did not want them to go inside his home because his wife has a heart condition.
The suspect reportedly stole a television and computer from inside the home. Police say the suspect put the gun down during the process, and the 86-year-old grabbed it, telling the suspect to leave. But the suspect then grabbed the gun out of the victim's hand and said "Who's in charge now?"
The suspect then took the couple's van, which has since been recovered. The suspect has not yet been located. He was described as a black male around 20 years-old at approximately 5'6" and 150 pounds.
No one was injured in the incident.
