Tulsa police have detained a suspect of an attempted robbery of a Mays Drug store at 4th and Sheridan.
Described as a Hispanic male, the robber passed a note with demands to a store employee according to TPD Cpl. Kurt Gardner.
Gardner said the call was in reference to an armed robbery but wasn't able to provide any information on the weapon when we spoke to him.
Officers were dispatched at 2:42 p.m. and happened to be in the area at the time. They were able to quickly identify and stop a vehicle leaving the scene with the help of witnesses.
Three people were in the car. Officers believe that one of the occupants of the vehicle was the suspect and are trying to determine how the other two were involved.
