Suspect Sought in Sand Springs Bank Robbery

The Sand Springs Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who robbed BancFirst this morning.

Sand Springs police say the suspect entered the BancFirst located at 102 West 41st at approximately 10:35 a.m., implied he had a gun, and demanded money from the teller through a written note.

The teller complied and the suspect then took off westbound from the bank on foot.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting the SSPD in the matter.

The suspect has been described as a 5'5" white male at about 170 pounds with strawberry blond goatee or facial hair. During the robbery, he was wearing a white ball cap, sunglasses, blue t-shirt and black pants and shoes.
