A man is recovering after a wild crash on the Will Rogers Turnpike late Sunday.According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 21-year-old William Corey Smith was heading east out of Catoosa on Interstate 44 around 10:30pm Sunday.The accident report states Smith's SUV went into the center median back onto the eastbound lanes and into the shoulder ditch. From there, the SUV traveled up a bridge embankment. The vehicle flipped once it hit a fence and landed upside down on the 225th E. Avenue Bridge near east Woodrow St.The car narrowly missed hitting a set of overhead power lines.The troopers report listed Smith's condition as faint or dizzy. He was reportedly talking to troopers before he was taken away in an ambulance. He was listed in critical condition at an area hospital.No other vehicles were involved.
