T-Town Rundo Friday Events for Tulsa Area Residents

It's the final countdown. Not really, but Christmas is just only four days away with malls and stores readying for busy afternooons. Before you stress out, how about taking part in some area activities.

As always, follow for full-length coverage on larger stories occurring in the area, state and nation. The following events are just some of those happening Friday with updates posted throughout the morning as we send out crews and reporters to stories we're working on for our evening newscasts.

Tulsa: Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol continues at the John H. Williams Theater in the Tulsa PAC. The show starts at 7:30pm. Additional performances are set for December 19th-22nd.

More Theatre: The PAC is also showing The Eight: Reindeer Monologues beginning at 8 p.m. The dark comedy casts Santa in a bad light when one of his reindeer accuses him of sexual harassment.

Christmas Lights: Head on over to Broken Arrow for their annual Rhema lights display. Visitors can see the displays at Rhema Baptist Church with two million lights and over 100,000 shimmering bulbs synchronized to Christmas music.

Muskogee: If Broken Arrow isn't your thing, then head to Muskogee's Garden of Lights showcase at Honor Heights Park. With more than 1,000,000 shimmering lights and 120 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated, you're bound to be in the Christmas season by the end of it.

BOK Center: The weather is right for you and your family to head out to Winterfest. Bundle up and buy some hot chocolate before you head out to the ice rink. There are also plenty of other free events and sights to see Downtown.

Music: Those still wanting to celebrate the end of the world can head to Cain's Ballroom this evening for an "End of the World" party. Beginning at 6 p.m., attendees can listen music, dance to the beats and even take part in an auction with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Food: In the mood for some food with your end of the world celebrations? Head on over to Elote's in Tulsa for a celebration with delicious Mexican food and luchador entertainment. The event begins at 8 p.m.
