TCC Metro Back in Business

New electrical system installed

Tulsa Community College's Metro Campus is back in business Monday after an electrical fire over the summer.

TCC hosted a "Keep Calm and Power On" pizza party Monday as faculty, staff and students return to normal operations.

An electrical fire on June 17th forced the closure of the Metro campus and the relocation of nearly 4,000 students.

A new electrical system was installed and following clean-up, testing and restoration, all three buildings affected by the fire were re-opened.

All departments and student services are now fully staffed and operational.

TCC Fall classes begin August 19th.
