TCC Metro Campus Remains Closed After Fire

Fire cancels classes at TCC Metro

The Tulsa Community College Metro campus remains closed Wednesday after a fire caused substantial damage in the basement Monday evening.

The fire appears to have started with a switching gear and is considered to be an electrical malfunction with TCC equipment.

As crews work to repair the damage, school administrators are now looking to find an alternative place for students to attend classes.

No word on when the metro campus will be back open.

Students can check TCC's website for updated information on when and where classes will resume.

The Center for Creativity was not damaged by the fire and remains open.
