TFD Investigates After Vacant Building Goes Up in Flames

Fire at 2500 W. Edison

Tulsa fire crews are investigating after a vacant building went up in flames late Monday night.

According to TFD,a security guard in the area saw fire coming out of the roof of a vacant building at 2500 W. Edison around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Firefighters know a lot of homeless people stay in the building, so they did a thorough search-and-rescue to make sure everyone was out.

They didn't find anyone and no one was injured.

Crews made sure the building was secure to prevent future accidents like this.

There is no word on a cause just yet.
